Our Usher's Ministry ensures the safety of our church campus during our service times. The Ushers are also dedicated to ministering to the congregation in other ways, including follow-up with individuals who come to accept Christ during a service. This ministry is always receiving of diligent and observant men who can step up to serve the church on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and special events.

Ministry Leader Camille Terrazas

Have a question about a ministry? Planning to sign up for an upcoming event? Our Info Center is THE place to go. Located at the desk in the Fellowship Hall, our Information Center team is dedicated to leading the congregation directly into the life of the church. They assist in sign-ups, general Q&A, take payments for upcoming events, and more. The booth usually has two people who are available for half an hour after each service. We encourage married couples to join this team so they can serve alongside one another and minister in unity with one another. However, we welcome anyone who is able and willing to serve the church on this team.

Ministry Leader Jacob Lane

The goal of the worship ministry is to provide an environment in which the congregation can respond to the loving, gracious, and powerful character of God. We use music to create an atmosphere that encourages the church to look at God for who He is, and praise His name in response. Through song, we corporately pledge our lives to Him in light of the amazing sacrifice He gave for usWe want everyone who walks through the doors of Calvary Chapel Apple Valley to experience God. It is our desire that everyone will have a real encounter with the Most High God – and respond.

BLOSSOM is a very fruitful and rewarding ministry. Missionaries and supporting churches are both on tight budgets. When an unexpected expense arises for a missionary, like the need for new tires on their car or a replacement computer for their ministry, missionaries find themselves calling out to the Lord. The Lord can use BLOSSOM to answer that need.  BLOSSOM is a vehicle the Lord uses to allow gifts and talents given by the Lord to be used in simple ways to raise funds for Missionaries.  Some examples are:  handmade crafts, baking, meals after church, etc.

Ministry Leader Jim & Sharon McClellan

“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” - James 5:16

Our Prayer Team is available at the end of each of our services to stand alongside of fellow believers in their time of need. We encourage people within the fellowship to take advantage of this valuable resource as needs arise within their lives. We have several couples standing by ready to pray with others and to encourage them as they face life’s challenges or trials. God has designed us as a body of believers, every part intimately connected to others. He never intended us to face these issues alone. Therefore, our Prayer Team is committed to serving others in your time of need.

Ministry Leader Jim Perrine

“With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love” - Ephesians 4:2

Here at Calvary Chapel Apple Valley, it is our desire for people to feel and know that they are welcome to fellowship, worship God and study His Word with us as they walk in for Sunday or Wednesday service. It is with this ministry that we want to put ourselves on the back burner and welcome other people with smiles, handshakes, and open arms, regardless of who they are.

Ministry Leader Sandy Mann

The Kings' Lynn Coffee Shop, located in our Fellowship Hall, is dedicated to serving the congregation by crafting espressos, smoothies, and other refreshments. They're also dedicated to serving the Proffit family and their mission to Kings' Lynn, England, by using all of the proceeds to support their efforts. With God’s help, the Proffit family has made it their mission to teach them to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. To fall in love with Him and His Word and then to share Him with others. And it's our joy to be able to support them, from right here in our own church!

Ministry Leader Sandy Mann

Our Meals Ministry provides occasional meals for those whose lives have been interrupted by great events (a new baby, an illness, trip to the hospital, etc.). Those in this ministry remain on standby, prepared to cook and deliver a meal to others in the congregation if needed, in order to bless those people. We also take care to adhere to allergies or food restrictions for the ones receiving the food. The goal for the ministry is to provide the love and care of Christ in the form of a warm meal when it's most needed.

Ministry Leader Ernie & Cheryl Castodio

Our Cleaning Ministry is committed to excellence when it comes to the house of the Lord. They give their time behind the scenes on Wednesday and Friday, from 9:00am to noon, to keep the church clean and usable for the congregation and anyone else who enters, so that they can focus on hearing from The Lord during our services.

Ministry Leader Guy Prickett

Our Food Pantry meets weekly on Fridays to pass out food to those in need here in our community. There's a devotional and Gospel message as well. Our goal and heart for this ministry is to give people all the food we are able to offer, while also offering them the only thing that can sustain their soul--a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Ministry Leader hector garcia

The Children’s Ministry builds an environment for children to worship and have Bible study during CCAV’s Sunday and Wednesday adult services. Pastor Hector leads the Children’s Ministry, along with a team of loving volunteers. Our engaging staff is there to assist children in their age appropriate class to grow in their knowledge and understanding of our fundamental Christian truths, love and faith (Ephesians 3:17-19). Here at CCAV, our utmost desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our goal is to reach people with the Gospel message in order to bring them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. This desire carries throughout our adult to children’s ministries.
